Privacy Policy

This draft describes what the current codebase actually does. It is not a lawyer-signed policy.

1. Who we are

Electrician's Home is a job-site calculator website. We provide planning-reference calculators. We do not issue licenses, approve installations, or act as your authority having jurisdiction.

2. What we collect

Account data (only if you sign in with Google)

Email address
Name
Profile image
Last login time
A site user id

We store this in our application database so we can keep you signed in and attach a plan, if any.

Payment data (only if you pay)

Payments are processed by PayPal. We receive order identifiers, plan selection, and enough status information to mark your account as Free or Pro. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Saved work (only if you are signed in and use those features)

Calculator history entries you save
Circuit projects you save

Anonymous calculator use is intended to stay in the browser and is not stored as an account record.

Technical and security data

Our host (Cloudflare) may process IP address, user agent, and request logs to operate and protect the site.

Analytics

The site loads a Plausible script from plausible.shipsolo.io. We record product events such as tool starts, successful calculations, and button clicks (for example cta_click, upgrade_click). We do not use this as an advertising pixel. Cookie behavior of that Plausible instance: [待确认].

3. What we do not collect

We do not offer an AI electrician chat, so we do not send your job details to a model provider.
We do not ask for government ID, license numbers, or job-site addresses as a condition of calculating.
We do not sell lists of electricians.

4. Third parties

We share data with vendors only to run the service:

We do not currently use Stripe, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or an OpenAI product API. Do not add those names unless the code changes.

5. Cookies

See Cookies. Essential cookies are used for sign-in. Analytics may run when the Plausible script loads.

6. How long we keep data

Account profile: until you ask us to delete the account, or the account is closed.
Subscription/payment records: as long as needed for accounting and fraud prevention ([待确认] exact period).
Saved calculator history and circuit projects: while the account exists, subject to plan limits and retention caps.
Analytics: vendor default ([待确认]).

7. Your choices

Use the calculators without creating an account.
Sign out.
Revoke Google access in your Google account.
Email the contact above to request account deletion. We will ask enough information to find the right account. [待确认: response time]
Some billing records may be retained after deletion if we must keep them.

8. Children

The service is for working adults and apprentices. It is not directed at children under 13.

9. International users

The site is operated for a US English audience. If you use it from elsewhere, you understand your data may be processed in the United States and on our vendors' infrastructure.

10. Changes

If we change what we collect (new ads, new AI, new payment vendor), we will update this page before or when the code ships. Do not leave this policy describing a product we no longer run.
